The entire base, including the footrest, is sewn with elastic around the edge to make tucking the fabric under the furniture easier. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (may not be available in English) Step 1: Find the sewn-in label marked "back." It is located at the bottom of the back section. Step 2: Pull the cover downward and stretch the fabric so it fits around the armrests. Step 3: Tuck the excess fabric into the gaps to position the cover neatly and keep it in place. Step 4: Position the front pleats of the footrest at the front corners of the footrest. Step 5: Smooth the entire recliner cover to complete the installation. CARE INSTRUCTIONS Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low and iron on low if needed. Colors may appear slightly different at first due to variations between monitors or screens, but this does not change the product.
