These products are widely used in welding shops, foundries, aluminum and steel plants, boiler insulation and sealing, exhaust systems, shipyards, refineries, power plants, and chemical plants. They are also used as the core in tadpole gaskets. The three available designs meet different application requirements: twisted rope is soft, while square and round braids are denser and stronger.
