Straight-fluted design made from 6542 high-speed steel. Suitable for machining threads in various through-holes or shallow blind holes; deep blind holes cannot be machined. It can process copper, brass, A3 steel, aluminum, cast iron, and other materials. Typically used with tapping machines, integrated bench drill presses, CNC lathes, machining centers, and similar equipment. Manual processing is also possible. During operation, adjust the speed according to the hardness of the material: the harder the material being processed, the slower the speed. Recommended feed rates: Hard steel: 510 m/min Cast iron: 810 m/min Regular steel: 615 m/min Material: High-speed steel. Cutting direction: Right-hand. Includes: 1 x M34 x 1.0 tap. Safety and use tips: 1. Take appropriate protective measures and wear safety glasses and protective gloves. 2. Before tapping, confirm that the round-hole diameter is suitable. Be sure to select the appropriate cutting oil for complex threading operations, and apply rust-preventive oil for maintenance after use. 3. During tapping, control the speed according to the material hardness. Add water or coolant to prevent excessive temperature and reduce tool wear.
