Straight-flute design made from 6542 high-speed steel. Suitable for machining threads in various through holes or shallow blind holes; deep blind holes cannot be machined. Can be used with copper, brass, A3 steel, aluminum, cast iron, and other materials. Typically used with tapping machines, integrated bench drilling machines, CNC lathes, machining centers, and similar equipment. Manual processing is also possible. During operation, adjust the speed according to the hardness of the material: the harder the material being processed, the slower the speed. Recommended feed rates: Hard steel: 510 m/min Cast iron: 810 m/min steel: 615 m/min Material: high-speed steel. Cutting direction: right-hand. Package includes: 1 x M10 x 1.0 tap. Tips: 1. Take appropriate protective measures and wear safety glasses and protective gloves. 2. Before tapping, confirm that the round-hole diameter is suitable. Select the appropriate tap for the threading process and apply rust-preventive oil for maintenance after use. 3. During tapping, control the speed according to the hardness of the material. Add water or coolant to prevent excessive temperatures and reduce tool wear.
