Free from toxic substances: We spend a large part of our lives in living spaces and are constantly in contact with our furniture. It is therefore important that paints used for furniture and walls contain neither heavy metals nor other toxic substances that could affect health. Chalk paints have extremely low VOC levels, meaning they contain very few volatile organic compounds. The paints are completely non-toxic and free from ethylene, lead, and glycol. Our chalk paint received EN 71-3 certification from the Danish laboratory Eurofins. This European certification is equivalent to the German DIN standard and guarantees that the product is free from toxic substances. Our chalk paints therefore meet EU requirements for toys and children's furniture and can also be used for these purposes. Easy to apply with excellent coverage: Due to its high-strength formulation, Chic chalk paint provides excellent coverage. No primer or further treatment is required. For a particularly durable finish on furniture, we recommend finishing the surface with decorative wax after the paint has dried completely. The paint is easy to apply with a brush or roller and is also suitable for use with a spray gun. Natural pigments provide intense colors. With our wide range of high-quality chalk paints, there are few limits to your creativity. Simply lightly sand the top layer of paint in selected areas after it has dried completely until the underlying color becomes visible. Another advantage: To give furniture a completely new look with chalk paint, you do not need a separate hobby room. Since the paint is completely odorless, you do not have to live with unpleasant paint odors for days and can bring your creative ideas to life in your home.
