Raw-sawn length; cut surfaces and edges unfinished. High strength and excellent sliding properties. Good toughness, including at low temperatures; good spring properties; good machinability; favorable sliding friction behavior; good recyclability. Tensile and breaking stress: 70 MPa. Elongation at break: 35% according to EN ISO 527-1. Tensile modulus: 3,000 MPa according to EN ISO 527-1. Impact strength: >145 kJ/m according to DIN EN ISO 179. Density: approx. 1.41 g/cm. Specific surface resistance: >10 ohms. Continuous operating temperature: -50C to max. 100C; short-term: 140C. Thermal linear expansion coefficient: 1/K 10. Not permanently UV-resistant. Produces short chips and offers good machinability. Electrical conductivity: 2835 m/ohm mm. Water absorption at saturation: 0.8%. Machining: turning, milling, drilling, and sawing with cooling.
