The FISCH-Tools decking board drill set consists of four length-adjustable wood twist drill bits for centrally pre-drilling screw holes, a high-quality chrome-alloyed plug-on countersink, and an adjustable rotating depth stop for setting the countersinking depth. The rotating depth stop is made of high-quality plastic and protects the workpiece surface from scratches and grooves. Because it is mounted to rotate, it does not continue turning with the wood twist drill bit when resistance is encountered. Only one depth stop and one countersink are needed for four different drill diameters, providing greater flexibility. The optimized cutting-edge geometry produces clean, tear-out-free countersunk holes, while the new flute geometry ensures efficient chip removal. The second set also enables screw heads to be covered with wooden plugs. The wooden plugs can be made from leftover wood using our plug cutter (item no. 037301200). The wood twist drill bits and countersink are ground and made of HSS tool steel.
