Technical data for birch plywood Material: Thin-veneer birch plywood with a light, natural grain. Commercial quality: IF20 bonding for indoor use. Number of layers: 3 mm = 3-ply 4 mm = 3-ply 5 mm = 4-ply 6 mm = 5-ply 8 mm = 6-ply 9 mm = 7-ply 10 mm = 8-ply 12 mm = 9-ply Emission class: The formaldehyde emission of phenolic-resin-bonded plywood is very low. The measured values are also below the strictest international requirements. According to EN 717-2, the formaldehyde emission of uncoated plywood for outdoor use is 0.4 mg HCHO/(mh), which is significantly below the requirements of class E1, the best class. Warning: Wood is a natural material. Depending on its type, age, coating or processing, it has varying properties and reacts strongly to environmental influences. Wood swells when it absorbs moisture and shrinks or bends in dry conditions. The thinner the panel, the more noticeable these natural properties become, such as warping. Therefore, we cannot offer completely straight panels. The dimensional accuracy of our products may consequently vary slightly; this does not constitute grounds for a complaint.
