In 1950, French entrepreneur Marcel Bich ushered in a writing revolution with the smudge-resistant BIC Cristal Original ink roller. His invention offered an unbeatable trio: a tip, a perfectly round ball, and high-quality ink manufactured in BIC facilities. The company maintains its extremely high quality standards by continuously optimizing the BIC Cristal pen. Over the years, the pen has been made lighter, while the in-house ink has been continually perfected for improved writing comfort. This pen now lasts twice as long as most conventional ink rollers. For millions of people around the world, from students and professionals to artists, the BIC Cristal ink roller is a reliable, ubiquitous everyday item that has been appreciated by everyone for decades. The legendary object is even exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and the Muse d'Art Moderne/Centre Pompidou in Paris, where visitors continue to admire its timeless design. Because only BIC is as good as BIC.
