Professional-quality single-fold bias tape with a dense, firm weave, unlike inexpensive 100% cotton bias tapes. Made from 50% polyester and 50% cotton, the balance of the two materials makes it smoother and more pleasant to the touch. The untextured polyester threads give the fabric a natural feel and softness. The bias tape from Ribbon Queen combines the comfort of cotton with the abrasion resistance of polyester, providing excellent durability for use in clothing, quilting, or upholstery. The fibers run at a 45-degree angle along the length of the strip, offering greater flexibility and fluidity and making application easier on both straight and curved lines. A wide selection of colors is available. Machine washable at 40C. When used as an edging, the finished border measures 1.5 cm; when laid flat, it measures 3 cm. Available in 2 m and 5 m lengths; the 2 m length is sold separately. Orders over 5 m are shipped as one continuous length, stock permitting.
