BELUPOL 080 Polymer is a high-quality, one-component adhesive and sealant based on MS polymer. Properties: Permanently elastic and fast-curing. For sealing applications in construction and industry; can be overpainted with dispersion paints. Alkyd resin paints may have a delayed drying time; test beforehand. Free from isocyanates, solvents, PVC, and silicone. Can be decontaminated with fungicidal and bactericidal agents. Very good adhesion to many substrates, including damp substrates, and in most cases no adhesion primer is required. Neutral-curing and odorless. Non-corrosive to metals. Applications: Universal filling and joint sealant suitable for connection joints, seams, gaps, cracks, and uneven surfaces in construction and industry; not suitable for expansion joints. High-quality glazing sealant, especially for burglar-resistant glazing systems. Suitable for vehicle body construction and metal connections. Packaging: 290 ml cartridges. Shelf life: 12 months in the unopened container when stored between +5C and +25C. Frost-resistant down to -15C during transport. Application: Substrate (bonding surface): Remove loose parts from clean, dry, grease-free, dust-free, and sufficiently strong surfaces. Absorbent substrates do not need to be completely dry. A primer is recommended on absorbent and powder-coated substrates. Testing the material for suitability before application is recommended. Substrate and application temperature: min. +5C, max. +40C. Smoothing the joint: BELUPOL 080 Polymer forms a skin on the surface after approximately 10 minutes, so the joint must be smoothed immediately after application using an acid-free method.
