• 8 mm Satinato glass: float glass with an extremely fine matte finish on one side.
• Suitable for table tops, shelves, racks, windows, doors, fireplace protection panels, kitchen backsplashes, shower partitions, and protective covers for wooden tables.
• ESG marking in accordance with DIN EN 12150, with a stamp on one glass edge.
• Quality glass, made in Germany.

ESG Satinato, frosted, or matte glass: custom-cut 8 mm frosted glass panels, available up to 130 470 cm (1,300 4,700 mm), with ground and polished edges and blunted corners. ESG is thermally toughened safety glass, making it considerably more stable than standard glass and particularly more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass table top. If it breaks, ESG crumbles into small glass fragments, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, ESG safety glass is used for table tops and as glass panels for door and window infills. ESG must not be modified after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
