• All edges ground and polished; corners eased to reduce the risk of injury from sharp corners.
• Satinato glass: float glass with one side finely frosted; thickness 8 mm.
• Suitable for tabletops, shelves, racks, windows, doors, fireplace protection panels, kitchen backsplashes, shower partitions, and as a protective cover for wooden tables.
• ESG marking in accordance with DIN EN 12150; stamp applied to one glass edge.
• Quality glass, made in Germany.

Custom-cut 8 mm ESG Satinato frosted glass, also known as milk glass or matte glass. Available in sizes up to 100 x 2900 mm (3.94 x 114.17 in), with ground and polished edges and eased corners. The glass bears an ESG edge stamp. ESG single-pane safety glass is thermally toughened, making it considerably more stable than standard glass and better able to withstand impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass tabletop. If broken, ESG disintegrates into small glass fragments, reducing the risk of injury. For these reasons, ESG is used for tabletops and as glass panels for doors and windows. ESG must not be modified after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
