ESG Satinato / frosted / milk glass: custom-cut, matte glass panels, 8 mm thick. Custom sizes up to 90 x 280 cm (900 x 2800 mm), with ground and polished edges and eased corners. ESG (thermally toughened safety glass) is significantly more stable than ordinary glass, particularly under impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when, for example, hot objects are placed on a glass tabletop. If it breaks, ESG disintegrates into small glass fragments, reducing the risk of injury. For these reasons, ESG is used, for example, for tabletops and as glass panels for door and window infill. ESG must not be processed after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
