ESG Satinato / frosted glass / matte glass: custom-made frosted glass panels, 10 mm thick and thermally toughened, with rounded corners. Available in custom sizes up to 220 270 cm, with ground and polished edges. Edge stamp included. ESG single-pane safety glass is thermally toughened, making it considerably more stable than standard glass, particularly more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when, for example, hot objects are placed on a glass tabletop. If broken, ESG disintegrates into small glass granules, thereby minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, ESG single-pane safety glass is used, for example, for tabletops and as glass panels for door and window infills. ESG must not be processed after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
