Custom-cut Satinato, frosted, or milk glass panels made from 8 mm tempered glass with rounded corners. Available in custom sizes up to 140 x 240 cm (1400 x 2400 mm), with ground and polished edges. Tempered safety glass (ESG) is thermally toughened, making it significantly more stable than standard glass, particularly against impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when hot objects are placed on a glass tabletop, for example. If broken, ESG disintegrates into small glass granules, reducing the risk of injury. For these reasons, tempered safety glass is used, for example, for tabletops and as glass panels for door and window infills. ESG must not be modified after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
