8 mm Satinato / frosted / milk glass panels, custom-cut with rounded corners. Custom sizes up to 40 110 cm (400 1100 mm), with ground and polished edges. Tempered safety glass (ESG) is thermally toughened, making it considerably stronger than ordinary glass, especially against impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass tabletop. If broken, ESG breaks into small glass granules, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, tempered safety glass is used, for example, for tabletops and as glass panels in doors and windows. ESG must not be modified after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
