8 mm custom-cut Satinato, frosted, or milk glass panels. Custom-made up to 90 x 150 cm (900 x 1500 mm), with ground and polished edges and eased corners. Toughened safety glass (ESG) is thermally hardened, making it considerably stronger than standard glass, particularly more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when, for example, hot objects are placed on a glass tabletop. If it breaks, ESG disintegrates into small glass granules, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, toughened safety glass is used, for example, for tabletops and as glass panels in door and window infills. ESG must not be worked after production, for example by drilling or sawing.
