• All edges ground and polished; corners blunted to reduce the risk of injury from sharp corners.
• 8 mm clear tempered safety glass (ESG).
• Suitable for tabletops, shelves, windows, doors, fire protection panels, kitchen backsplashes, shower partitions, and protective covers for wooden tables.
• Tempered glass without stamp or marking, differing from DIN EN 12150. Quality glass, made in Germany.

8 mm clear tempered glass panels, custom-cut up to 100 440 cm (1,000 4,400 mm), with ground and polished edges and blunted corners. The tempered glass has no stamp and is resistant to bending and impact. Tempered safety glass (ESG) is thermally toughened, making it considerably stronger than standard glass, particularly more resistant to impact and bending. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass tabletop. If broken, tempered glass disintegrates into small glass granules, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, tempered safety glass is used for tabletops and as glass panels in doors and windows. After production, tempered glass must not be further processed, for example by drilling or sawing.
