6 mm ESG Satinato / frosted / matte glass panels, custom-cut to size. Custom-cut dimensions up to 60 x 330 cm (600 x 3300 mm), with ground and polished edges and blunted corners. ESG, or toughened safety glass, is thermally hardened. As a result, it is considerably more stable than standard glass, especially under impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when, for example, hot objects are placed on a glass tabletop. If broken, ESG disintegrates into small glass granules, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, ESG toughened safety glass is used, for example, for tabletops and as glass panels for door and window inserts. ESG must not be modified after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
