Clear 6 mm tempered safety glass panels with rounded corners, custom-made up to 1900 2700 mm. The edges are ground and polished. The glass is tempered safety glass according to DIN and includes an edge stamp. Tempered safety glass is thermally hardened, making it significantly more stable than ordinary glass and particularly more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass tabletop. In the event of breakage, tempered safety glass breaks into small fragments, helping to minimize the risk of injury. For these reasons, tempered safety glass is used, for example, for tabletops and as glass panels for door and window infills. After production, tempered safety glass must not be further processed, such as by drilling or sawing.
