• Toughened safety glass marking according to DIN EN 12150, with a permanent stamp in one glass corner. Quality glass, made in Germany.

Clear 5 mm toughened safety glass panels with rounded corners, custom-cut up to 130 x 300 cm (1300 x 3000 mm), with ground and polished edges. Toughened safety glass according to DIN. Toughened single-pane safety glass is thermally hardened, making it considerably more stable than ordinary glass, especially more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when, for example, hot objects are placed on a glass table top. If it breaks, toughened glass shatters into small glass fragments, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, toughened single-pane safety glass is used, for example, for table tops and as glass panels for door and window infills. Toughened glass must not be modified after production, for example by drilling or sawing.
