Clear 10 mm tempered glass panels with rounded corners, cut to size up to 110 x 330 cm (1100 x 3300 mm), with ground and polished edges. Tempered glass without a stamp. Tempered safety glass is thermally toughened, making it considerably more stable than ordinary glass, particularly more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when, for example, hot objects are placed on a glass tabletop. If it breaks, tempered glass fragments into small glass granules, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, tempered safety glass is used for tabletops and as glass panels for door and window infills, for example. Tempered glass must not be processed after manufacture, such as by drilling or sawing.
