10 mm Satinato / frosted / milky glass: custom-cut frosted glass panels with rounded corners. Custom sizes up to 40 x 140 cm (400 x 1400 mm), with ground and polished edges. Tempered safety glass (ESG) is thermally toughened, making it considerably stronger than ordinary glass, especially against impact and bending. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass tabletop. If it breaks, ESG crumbles into small glass granules, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, tempered safety glass is used, for example, for tabletops and as glass panels for door and window infills. ESG must not be processed after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
