10 mm ESG glass panels with rounded corners and a clear, transparent finish. Custom-cut up to 700 x 2700 mm, with ground and polished edges. ESG according to DIN, with an edge stamp. ESG toughened safety glass is thermally tempered, making it considerably more stable than ordinary glass and particularly more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass table top. In the event of breakage, ESG shatters into small glass granules, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, ESG toughened safety glass is used, for example, for table tops and as glass panels for door and window infills. ESG must not be further processed after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
