BAER HSS-G 2-piece hand tap set, MF 12 x 1.5, DIN 2181. Dimensions: thread MF 12 x 1.5; L1: 70 mm; L2: 22 mm; D2: 9.0 mm; square size: 7.0 mm. Application: easily machinable materials up to 900 N/mm, including unalloyed and low-alloy steels. Cutting threads with a hand tap set is the proven traditional method for producing an ideal thread by hand. For metric fine threads, the hand tap set consists of two parts: the first tap cuts the thread initially, and the finishing tap completes the tapped hole.
