Application The materials and substrates to be bonded must be dry to damp and free of dust. Pre-wetting is only necessary for highly absorbent materials. Residual moisture from wet cutting is not a problem, but the cutting film should be wiped off. In a mason's pan, thoroughly work only the required amount of water into the adhesive mortar until a plastic consistency is achieved. Work larger quantities in a clean bucket using a mixer. First apply thin contact layers, then apply the adhesive mortar to the other bonding surface in a gable-roof shape to create a joint that is as gas-tight as possible. Use the mortar within 1520 minutes. Warm water accelerates setting. Notes Use clean water and a clean container. Do not remix hardened mortar; dispose of it instead. Clean tools immediately after use with water. Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life: 12 months.
