AUPROTEC high-quality automotive cables in OEM quality, made in Germany. High-quality 3-core automotive cable, type FLRyy, available in 5 m to 50 m rolls. The AUPROTEC round cable has reduced wall thickness for space-saving installation and is manufactured according to current high and modern quality standards. Technical specifications: Nominal cable cross-section: 3 x 1.0 mm; copper conductors, bare, finely stranded; cores stranded in concentric layers; PVC insulation with color-coded cores in black, white, and brown; black PVC outer jacket, largely resistant to oil and gasoline; Shore hardness: typically Sh 86; outer diameter: approximately 6.1 mm; nominal voltage: 50 V AC / 60 V DC; temperature range, Class A: -40C to +70C; free of silicone, cadmium, and lead; available lengths: 5 m, 10 m, 20 m, and 50 m; standard: DIN ISO 6722; made in Germany. Please note: Cross-section is not the same as diameter. Cross-section is an area measurement, while diameter is a length measurement. Cross-section from diameter: A = d / 4. Diameter from cross-section: d = 2 (A / ), where is approximately 3.14. Example for a 2.5 mm cable: conductor diameter = 2 (2.5 / ) = 1.784 mm; conductor cross-section = 1.784 / 4 = 2.5 mm. Please also note that AUPROTEC automotive cables have reduced wall thickness, meaning the PVC insulation is thinner than that of conventional cables while maintaining the same quality.
