Thread plug limit gauges made of high-quality gauge steel. Metric ISO coarse-pitch right-hand thread according to DIN 22792299. Gauge dimensions according to DIN ISO 1502. Up to M52: GO and NO-GO sides on one handle (DIN 2240, Part 1, Form R). From M56: split design with separate GO and NO-GO sides. The NO-GO side is marked in red. Application: Thread plug limit gauges consist of a GO side and a NO-GO side, identified by a red ring. The GO side must screw into the workpiece thread by hand without requiring significant force. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the requirements and is rejected. The NO-GO side may be screwed into the thread by hand by no more than two turns. If it can be screwed in farther, the thread also does not meet the specified tolerances and is rejected. The reference temperature for workpieces and gauges is 20C.
