ARO PortaMount Magnetic Silicone Portafilter Holder (Black, 54 mm)

Description

• Keeps your coffee station organized by letting you store your portafilter wherever you want. Built-in high-strength rare-earth magnets attach directly to steel surfaces, while the included mounting plate supports concealed adhesive strips or screws for walls, cabinets, or backsplashes.
• Premium, durable silicone construction: Made from durable matte-black silicone, the PortaMount is built to withstand daily use in busy cafs or home coffee stations. The material resists heat, stains, and splashes, while its soft surface helps protect both your portafilter and the mounting area.
• Versatile mounting options: Each PortaMount includes three mounting options. Choose magnets, Command Strips, or screws and install it wherever it works best for your workflow.
• Easy to remove and clean: The PortaMount snaps on and off the mounting plate in seconds, making it easy to wipe down or deep-clean when needed. Simply remove it, rinse it, and snap it back into place.
• Compatible with 58 mm and 54 mm portafilters: Available in two sizes to fit standard 58 mm portafilters with straight tabs and 54 mm Breville/Sage portafilters with three tabs. The PortaMount gives each handle a secure place, keeps it off the counter, and keeps it within reach for a less cluttered, cleaner, more efficient coffee station.
• Support small businesses: Choosing ARO Espresso provides not only a premium espresso accessory, but also support for a small, family-run business committed to exceptional craftsmanship and personal customer service.

Installation instructions: Each PortaMount offers three mounting options, so you can place it exactly where you need it. Use the built-in rare-earth magnets for quick, clean installation on any steel surface that attracts magnets, or attach the included mounting plate with 3M Command Strips for a no-drill solution, or with screws and wall anchors for a permanent, sturdy setup. The PortaMount securely snaps into the plate with a simple snap-in connection and can be removed just as easily for cleaning or repositioning. Below are step-by-step instructions for each mounting method: High-strength magnets: the simplest and easiest option. Works directly on espresso machines, if they attract magnets, or on any other magnetic steel surface. No preparation is required. Simply place the PortaMount where you want it, and the built-in magnets will hold it in place. The silicone backing grips the surface to help prevent sliding, including with heavier portafilters. 3M Command Strips + mounting plate: ideal for walls, cabinets, or backsplashes where you want a clean, drill-free solution. 1. Clean the mounting surface and the back of the mounting plate. Use the included alcohol wipe if needed. Make sure both surfaces are free of dust and oil. 2. Apply two Command Strips to the back of the plate, making sure the release tabs point toward the bottom of the holder. 3. Press the plate firmly against the desired location to attach it to the mounting surface. 4. Align the tabs on the mounting plate with the slots in the PortaMount and press until it snaps flush into place. The mounting plate hides the ends of the Command Strips for a seamless look. If you ever want to move it, remove the PortaMount from the plate and pull the strips' tabs straight down. They will release cleanly without damaging the surface. Screws and wall anchors + mounting plate: the strongest, most permanent option. Ideal for drywall. 1. Hold the mounting plate against the wall and mark the two screw-hole locations. 2. Drill holes in the wall using a 3/16-inch (4.8 mm) bit. 3. Insert the included #6 plastic wall anchors into the holes in the wall. 4. Align the mounting plate with the anchors and secure it with the screws using a Phillips screwdriver. 5. Align the tabs on the mounting plate with the slots in the PortaMount and press until it snaps flush into place. If you have questions about installation or encounter any issues, please contact us. Compatibility: The ARO PortaMount is designed to fit two of the most common portafilter styles used in both home and professional espresso setups: 58 mm portafilters with straight tabs: Compatible with machines from brands using E61 group heads, including ECM, Profitec, Breville, La Marzocco, Slayer, Rocket, Synesso, Bezzera, Lelit, Rancilio, and many more. It also works with 58 mm portafilters with angled ears, such as Gaggia-compatible models. For these styles, install the PortaMount at an angle so the portafilter handle hangs straight down when mounted. 54 mm portafilters with three tabs: Compatible with Breville and Sage machines, including the Barista Express, Barista Express Impress, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Barista Touch Impress, Bambino, Bambino Plus, Infuser, and Duo-Temp Pro. Care and maintenance: For daily maintenance, wipe with a cloth or rinse the silicone PortaMount under running water. For a more thorough cleaning, hand-wash with mild soap and dry immediately. Not dishwasher-safe.
