Anchor Sticktwist is a high-quality, 6-strand embroidery thread made from 100% extra-long Egyptian cotton fibers. The extra-long Egyptian Giza fibers and double mercerization provide a special sheen, unique softness, and intense light reflection. Each individual strand is twisted twice. The flexible strand separation of Anchor Sticktwist lets you select the desired thread thickness without having to unwind the entire skein. This makes Anchor Sticktwist suitable for all kinds of embroidery techniques. It is ideal for cross-stitch on fabrics with different thread counts, as well as for free embroidery, needlepoint, and other counted embroidery techniques. Anchor Sticktwist is tested for resistance to friction, perspiration, and water. Solid-color threads can be washed at up to 95C, while multicolor and ombr threads can be washed at up to 60C. The threads are dyed according to international standards for wash, light, and abrasion fastness. Warning: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Use under adult supervision.
