Product description Anchor stranded cotton is a high-quality, 6-strand embroidery floss made from 100% extra-long Egyptian cotton fibers. The extra-long Egyptian Giza fibers and double mercerization provide a special sheen, unique softness, and an intense light reflection. Each individual strand is twisted twice. The flexible strand separation of Anchor stranded cotton allows you to use the desired thread thickness without having to completely unwind the skein. This makes Anchor stranded cotton suitable for all kinds of embroidery techniques. It is ideal for cross-stitch on fabrics with different thread counts, as well as for free embroidery, tapestry embroidery, and other counted embroidery techniques. Anchor stranded cotton is tested for resistance to abrasion, perspiration, and water. Solid-color threads can be washed at temperatures up to 95C, while multicolor and ombr threads can be washed at temperatures up to 60C. The threads are dyed according to international standards for wash fastness, lightfastness, and rub fastness. Warnings Caution: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Use under adult supervision.
