The raw, unfinished surface may show storage marks. Length tolerance is approximately +0.0 to 2 mm; diameter and wall-thickness tolerances are approximately 2% depending on the batch, according to EN 573-3, EN 755-2, EN 755-1, and EN 755-5. Density is 2.75 kg/dm. Alloy composition is Si 0.30.6% and Mg 0.350.6%. Tensile strength Rm is 215260 N/mm, and the 0.2% yield strength Rp0.2 is 160230 N/mm. Brinell hardness is HB 7080, electrical conductivity is 2835 m/Ohm mm, and thermal conductivity is approximately 1.86 W/cm C. Heat-aged. Suitable for turning, milling, drilling, and sawing with coolant. Very suitable for anodizing, pickling, and powder coating; suitable for hard chrome plating, chrome-nickel plating, and anodizing.
