Tensile strength: from Rm 340 N/mm. 0.2% yield strength: Rp0.2 250 N/mm. Brinell hardness: HBV 100. Machining: ideal for turning, milling, drilling, and sawing; anodizing: acceptable; hard chrome plating: good; powder coating: good. Chip form: short. The product image is illustrative/similar. This innovative alloy was designed and developed in the research and development laboratories of Eural Gnutti S.p.A. to meet the latest environmental protection standards. Eural's 6026 LEAD FREE alloy offers excellent chip formation, good corrosion resistance, medium-high mechanical properties (Rm 370 MPa), excellent surface quality after machining, and good suitability for decorative and hard anodizing. The alloy is also well suited for hot forming. Eural's 6026 LEAD FREE alloy is the best option under the latest RoHS and REACH restrictions for lead (Pb 0.1%). Main applications include the automotive industry, electrical and electronic industry, precision turned parts, cold forging, and more. Eural's 6026 LEAD FREE alloy contains no tin (Sn). It has been demonstrated that tin can lead to weak points and cracks in machined parts under load and exposure to low or high temperatures (160C).
