This is a clear vinyl layer; be sure to remove it before applying the window film to the glass. Step 4: Apply the film to the wet glass and smooth it with your hands. Step 5: Press out water and air bubbles. Seller tips: 1. The film may not adhere as well in winter. Solution: Use a hair dryer to soften it before application; heat resistance is below 176. 2.
