System description: XP20S reversible key system with horizontal key insertion, 6 spring-loaded pin elements, and 6 passive pin elements. The key also features an active spring element for technical copy protection. Equipment: Emergency function included as standard; the cylinder can always be locked, even when a key is inserted on the other side. High-strength drill protection, SKG** tested. Nickel-plated brass keys with a long 13 mm key neck. Manipulation protection: Anti-pick and anti-bump key technology using patented pin-in-pin technology provides a high level of protection against intelligent opening methods. Surface: The cylinder surface is nickel-plated. Copy protection: Patented system with legal copy protection. Active spring element in the key provides technical copy protection. Security card in EC-card format. Compatible variants for keyed-alike systems: XP20S double cylinder, half cylinder, thumbturn cylinder, and exterior cylinder for cabinet locks. Available keyed alike, meaning multiple cylinders can be operated with identical keys. Keyed-alike systems are available on request. Suitability: The XP20S is suitable for all areas of use, both residential and commercial. Not suitable for master-key, grand master-key, or central locking systems. Can also be combined with 7010 / 7030 door additional locks and armored bar locks. Replacement security: Keyed-alike XP20S cylinders and keys can be reordered at any time using the code. Determining cylinder length: Measure from the center of the threaded hole (fixing screw) toward both sides. The two measurements together give the total length. Whether the side is exterior or interior does not matter, as the cylinder can be turned as needed.
