The ABUS Bravus.3000 reversible-key system features horizontal key insertion, with key validation via 10 active pin elements and 6 coding pins on 3 levels. It includes increased drill protection and an emergency/danger function, allowing the cylinder to be operated even when a key is inserted on the other side. The nickel-silver keys have a long 12 mm key neck. The patented Intellitec system provides protection against unauthorized key duplication, while the cylinder offers high resistance to manipulation methods such as picking and bumping. The cylinder surface is nickel-plated. The patented system provides legal copy protection until 2030 and unlimited trademark protection. A security card in EC-card format is included. Bravus.3000 cylinders can be combined as keyed-alike variants, including double cylinders, half cylinders and knob cylinders. They can also be combined with Bravus.2000 and Bravus.1000 systems where desired. Keyed-alike combinations are available on request. The keys fit each system. The Bravus.3000 is suitable for private and commercial applications, including large master-key, master-key and central locking systems. It can also be combined with ABUS door additional locks 7010/7030 and security door bars. With ABUS Combi Cap and a proximity chip, ABUS SECCOR electronic cylinders and fittings can also be integrated; retrofitting is possible. Matching Bravus cylinders can be purchased later. To determine the cylinder length, measure from the center of the threaded hole for the fixing screw to both sides; the two measurements together give the total length (C). The installation direction is determined by the installer.
