NBR O-rings are made of a synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to mineral-based oils and lubricating greases, hydraulic oils (H, H-L, H-LP), silicone oils and greases, hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC), as well as aliphatic hydrocarbons, air, and water. For other oils and fuels, we recommend testing to verify the resistance of the NBR O-ring. Thanks to their good physical properties, such as high abrasion resistance, durability, and good temperature resistance, NBR O-rings have a wide range of applications. The resistance of NBR O-rings to aging, weathering, and ozone is rather limited.
