Caution: sharp edges. Sheets are cut with a guillotine shear, and the edges are not deburred. Surface scratches cannot be ruled out. Product images are for illustration only; the supplied cut pieces may differ from them. V4A stainless steel sheet is made from austenitic stainless steel. It offers good resistance to non-oxidizing acids and intergranular corrosion, including after welding. These properties are achieved through the addition of molybdenum and reduced carbon content. 1.4404 stainless steel sheet is readily formable, can be polished and welded well, and offers good corrosion resistance and toughness. 316L sheet is resistant to pitting corrosion, provides good resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, and is not susceptible to intergranular corrosion. The sheet has a maximum operating temperature of up to 450 C. Its primary applications include the chemical industry, particularly equipment for chloride-containing media; the food industry, including dairies and breweries; sanitary installations; wastewater treatment plants; compressed-air systems; and the paper and textile industries.
