• Suitable for square posts at least 35 mm wide, round posts at least 55 mm in diameter, or direct fence mounting.

Installation instructions: The anti-climb guard can be screwed to square fence posts with a minimum width of 35 mm, round posts with a minimum diameter of 55 mm, or directly to the fence. The screw type must match the material of the posts or fence. Screws with a thread diameter of up to 5 mm fit the anti-climb guard, such as 5 x 45 pan-head screws or M5 x 30 screws. Washers are recommended in all cases to increase the screw contact area and significantly improve stability. Washers must not exceed 22 mm in outer diameter so they can be properly mounted on the guard. To determine the correct screw length, add the 15 mm width of the anti-climb guard to the desired or possible insertion depth in the mounting element. Where possible, maintain a minimum insertion depth of 20 mm, requiring screws at least 35 mm long. For very thin boards, use screws with nuts, as standard wood screws may pull out. As an alternative to screws, the anti-climb guard can be attached with cable ties. This method is less stable and should only be used when no other option is available. Cable ties up to 9 mm wide can be threaded through the two slots in the base of the guard. A minimum post width of 40 mm is recommended for using cable ties. This attachment method is not recommended for round posts. Install at least one anti-climb guard every two meters. The required spacing varies considerably depending on how the guard is used and may need to be adjusted to the conditions. If the material being attached must be tensioned significantly, install stable posts or similar supports at the property corners rather than tensioning it solely over the extension arms. The guard is intended for small animals, including cats, foxes, martens, and small dogs, and is not an anti-climb system for people. Use with barbed wire or concertina wire is prohibited. If used with a cat net and the net does not provide sufficient protection against climbing, electrified and grounding wires can additionally be threaded through the five pass-through holes. The net must not conduct electricity, as is the case with most nets. The guard has the same construction as the company's anti-climb guard for double-wire panel fences, differing only in the attachment method: it is twisted into a double-wire panel fence and screwed onto, for example, a wooden fence. Depending on requirements, both versions can be used to secure both a wooden fence and a double-wire panel fence. Package contents: anti-climb guards only, without accessories such as wire or nets.
