2.32 m² TEGOLD Square Bituminous Shingles

Description

Package of square, self-adhesive TEGULE CANADESI shingles: 2.32 m (16 pieces). Weight: 10.7 kg/m. Properties: Canadian shingles belong to the bituminous shingle category and are made by overlapping organic and inorganic layers, primarily wood and bitumen. They have a square or rectangular shape and small dimensions. They have been used for more than a century for covering roofs and attics, especially because of their versatility and ease of installation. Their main characteristic is their light weight: 1 m of these materials weighs 10 kg, substantially less than conventional terracotta tiles. For this reason, the bituminous covering resembles traditional roofing without drawbacks such as heat application and an unattractive appearance. They are also highly resistant to high temperatures and weathering. Installation and assembly: Installing Canadian shingles is not complicated and is one of the reasons they are so widely used. Installation can also be carried out by untrained personnel, provided the specified instructions are followed carefully. The roof must be clean and even before installation. Installation always begins at the eaves and proceeds parallel to them. The shingles are staggered in each row so that the upper overlap covers half of the lower one. Fastening can be done with a small gas burner or with ordinary nails. The shingles must always overlap according to the printed markings to prevent water infiltration. Flashings are made by cutting the shingles and securing them with nails.
