Please note: Depending on the size, screws with either a partial or full thread may be supplied. DIN 7991 A2/V2A stainless steel countersunk screws with a hex socket drive have a recessed head and are driven with a hex key. This allows a high tightening torque without damaging the screw head. Countersunk screws can be recessed into the material so that they are flush with the surface, reducing the risk of injury from sharp edges. Additional components can still be mounted. Unlike pan head screws, countersunk screws disappear completely into the material; when covered with filler, they are no longer visible. The countersunk head also fits the chamfer particularly well. Suitable for fastening applications in machinery, metal construction, plumbing and heating, and furniture construction.
