Description

QuikSteel is a two-component epoxy resin in a stick: the outer layer is the epoxy and the core is the activator. It hardens through a chemical reaction when kneaded until the epoxy putty and activator are thoroughly mixed. It becomes hard under all conditions, including when immersed in liquids, within 1530 minutes and achieves a chemical cure within 1 hour. QuikSteel adheres to and bonds almost all solid surfaces, including metals, wood, masonry, glass, and most plastics. For perfect adhesion, surfaces must be free of contaminants and deposits. When applied underwater, QuikSteel should be held in position for 23 minutes to allow it to bond to the substrate. See the label for additional technical specifications.
