Neodymium ring magnets with a bore and countersink are designed for mechanical attachment with standard countersunk screws. They are suitable for concealed mounting of doors, flaps, drawers, tools, keys, signs, lamps and various other objects, including applications in offices, workshops, camping, trade show construction and retail construction. The magnets are available in high grades such as N40 and N45, with either nickel plating or a black epoxy coating. Magnetic properties for NdFeB N40: remanence 1.261.29 T; coercive field strength HcB > 900 kA/m; intrinsic coercive field strength HcJ > 955 kA/m; maximum operating temperature 80 C. The stated holding force was measured by pulling the magnet vertically from a 20 mm thick, flat-ground St37 steel plate at room temperature. In exceptional cases, the value may be up to 10% lower than stated; generally, it is exceeded.
