This 120-liter plastic cider barrel is suitable for preparing and storing cider and fruit wines. The fermentation barrel is made of uncolored, food-safe polyethylene (PE) and features Speidel quality and high leak resistance. Its thick walls protect the contents from oxygen, helping preserve the flavor of homemade apple cider for many months. The plastic cider barrel offers a range of practical features. Ingredients such as yeast can be added easily through the large filling opening, which also makes cleaning the barrel convenient. The smooth interior walls support hygienic storage. Thanks to its round shape, the cider can mature evenly throughout the container, helping maintain the desired aroma-to-alcohol ratio. The fermentation barrel comes with a sturdy lid and clamp closure. An optional fermentation airlock can be attached to the lid. The airtight plastic construction is suitable for fermenting and storing cider.
