Copper-nickel foam: Through advanced deep processing, the copper-nickel alloy is formed into a foam sponge with a three-dimensional, fully interconnected network structure. Its density is between 0.2 and 0.3, corresponding to approximately 1/4 that of water, 1/3 that of wood, 1/10 that of aluminum, and 1/30 that of iron. The porous structure provides sound absorption across a broad frequency range. It can be cut, bent, and bonded, and offers excellent thermal conductivity. It is widely used for heat conduction and heat dissipation in motors and electrical and electronic components. Due to its excellent conductivity, it is also used as electrode material for nickel-zinc batteries and electric double-layer capacitors. The uniform three-dimensional network structure provides excellent stability for air and liquid flow during filtration. The metal framework is hollow and interconnected in the metallurgical state. Porosity is 9598%, while the density is only 1/50 that of copper. The specific surface area is very large, while the copper-nickel alloy retains its favorable physical and chemical properties.
