Why did we produce the grid-tie inverter with limiter? It was developed in response to overwhelming customer demand for a product that can control the amount of power generated by grid-tie inverters (GTIs), reducing excess electricity produced by solar panels to insignificant levels, if not eliminating it. In some countries, the generator pays for excess electricity supplied to the distribution grid. This is because the electricity meters provided by the local utility do not detect the direction of power flow. In other words, they only add consumption when electricity is fed into the grid, causing users to be charged even when power is supplied to the grid. This is the second-generation grid-tie inverter with a limiter. In the second generation, we added a collection meter. The collection meter detects the load's power consumption through the sensor and transmits it to the inverter via the RS-485 port. The inverter supplies the corresponding power to the grid; this is referred to as external power detection. How do I connect the sensor? 1. Connect the RS-485 cable of the AC power collection meter to the inverter's 485 port. 2. Plug the terminal of the included current sensor into the collector's CT-IN port; there is no positive or negative polarity. 3.
