DIN 912 screws, corresponding to ISO 4762, are commonly used fastening elements in mechanical engineering, metalworking, and plant construction. They feature a cylindrical head with an internal hex drive and a metric coarse thread. Standardized dimensions ensure dimensional accuracy, fit, and interchangeability. The screws are suitable for metal-to-metal connections with a mating thread and for use with compatible nuts. The internal hex drive enables reliable torque transmission even in confined spaces.
