Product overview: RS9 series semiconductor protection fuses. This series of fast-acting fuses is suitable for AC at 50 Hz, rated AC voltage of 2503,000 V, rated DC voltage of 652,000 V, and rated current of 1016,000 A. In circuits, they are used for short-circuit and certain overload protection of rectifier diode sets, thyristors, and other semiconductor devices, preventing overcurrent. This series of fast-acting fuses consists of a variable-cross-section fuse element made of pure silver sheet, enclosed in a high-strength porcelain fuse tube. The fuse tube is filled with chemically treated, high-purity quartz sand as an arc-extinguishing medium. The fuse link may have an indicator or a striker. When the fuse melts, the indicator or striker immediately shows that the fuse has blown and actuates a microswitch to send various signals or automatically switch circuits. This series of fast-acting fuses features high rated capacity, high breaking capacity, fast melting speed, clear current-limiting characteristics, clear indication, safety, and reliability.
