Caution: Sharp edges! Sheets are cut with a guillotine shear, and the edges are not deburred. Surface scratches cannot be ruled out. Product images are for illustration only; the supplied cut pieces may differ from them. This brass sheet has material number 2.0321 and consists of approximately 6264% copper and approximately 3437% zinc. The proportion of accompanying components is approximately 0.5%. The brass sheet is excellent to process: it is weldable and very well suited to soft and hard soldering. The material also offers very good cold formability and polishability and can be very well electroplated. CuZn37 has good corrosion resistance and remains stable in water and various salt solutions. Material 2.0321 is diamagnetic. Brass sheet is used in the manufacture of gutters and downpipes, for roofing, in roof drainage production, and in the manufacture of brass vessels. Typical properties of cut brass sheet include excellent durability of more than 200 years, high electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance, resistance to hydrochloric acid and alkalis, and suitability for use as an alloying additive.
